Your server with Docker

Free and fully private. Your phone reaches it on your home Wi-Fi.

1. Install Docker Desktop on a Mac or PC that stays on: docker.com. Open it once.
2. Start Command. Open Terminal (Mac) or PowerShell (Windows), paste this and press Return:

   docker run -d --name command --restart unless-stopped -p 9071:8000 -v command-data:/data ghcr.io/legitimate-apps/command-server

3. Connect. In the app on the same Wi-Fi: My own server → I already have a server → your computer's address with :9071, like http://192.168.1.10:9071.

Where do I find my computer's address?

Mac: System Settings → Wi-Fi → Details → IP address. Windows: Settings → Network & internet → Wi-Fi → Properties → IPv4 address.

Update or away from home

Update: docker pull ghcr.io/legitimate-apps/command-server, then docker rm -f command and run the command again — your data stays in the command-data volume. Away from home: install Tailscale on the computer and phone and use its address.
